What is it?

Our slimline magnetic Car Mount Kit allows secure attachment for any mobile device, with or without a rigid case, to your Model S/X dash.  Each kit includes two low-profile disks, one Ball Mount, a magnetic socket, an alcohol prep pad, spare 3M VHB (Very High Bond) sticky pads and installation instructions.whats-included.png

The slimline name comes from the small disk that's potentially completely invisible if you put the disk under a slim phone case (or if the back of your phone is magnetic, so no disk required).  We also offer a larger version of our Slimline model (in the photos, it's the one with the red bumper on the magnetic puck).  This allows for a more secure mount for larger phones, or if you have a slightly thicker case.

The disk (there's two, either for a spare or another phone) is simply stuck to the back of your phone, or placed under a case.  As a guide, the case needs to be fairly slim, the standard Apple Leather cases for the iPhone 6 & 7 is fine.  Anything thicker and the disk should be stuck to the outside of the case, or consider the larger option.

The ball mount can go anywhere on your Model S dash, the photo's show what we think is the best location (either to the left or right of the center screen).  No matter where you place it, the ball mount allows for a huge degree of adjustment, and you

can easily rotate your phone to any angle.  Should you need to remove the ball mount from your dash, detailed instructions are included, but simply sliding some dental floss behind it will eventually break the adhesive bond without doing any harm.
