FAQ

About Xpel Armor

The raw material comes to us direct from Xpel in San Antonio. The design and pattern cutting all happens at our HQ in Fort Worth, TX.

We move fast. Generally speaking, if your order is placed by midday, it'll ship same day. For the Xpel Armor, we use UPS or USPS, so expect delivery 2-5 days after.

Xpel Armor is a US-made product, and has an excellent reputation. It started in the Jeep and off-road communities, and although you might find cheaper Chinese-sourced products, Xpel Armor is the absolute best you can buy for your Cybertruck. In addition, our cut patterns are 100% exclusive to us, all designed in-house to ensure ease of installation.

Installation

Yes! In fact, we recommend you do, rather than wasting money with a wrap shop. All our kits are designed to be installed by almost anyone. Think of Armor like peel & stick; it's extremely forgiving, can be reapplied many times, and if you do mess up a piece, don't worry, we'll send you replacements!

None! All Armor products ship with a double-sided squeegee. If you order one of the kits, you'll also get a spray bottle of Isopropyl alcohol and microfiber towel to help with the surface preparation.

It just needs to be clean. Although this is PPF, it's nowhere near as fussy as transparent PPF, so the surface doesn't need to be spotless, but we want it clean, and clear of any trim enhancers, as they can leave a greasy residue that will inhibit adhesion. Note, if you've ceramic coated your trim, it will need to removed before applying Xpel Armor.

General

Of course, but bear in mind that most wrap shops are not used to working with Xpel Armor, and even less familiar with working with pre-cut kits. We've designed these for DIY installation, and thousands of customers have installed these kits. For this reason, installation failures resulting from having a wrap shop complete the install are not covered by our do-over package, but we will, of course, help resolve any issues.

Of course! Just reach out to us with your requirements, and we'll cut whatever pieces you need.
