Installing your carbon fiber door sill protectors
- Clean the door sill trim piece with the included alcohol wipe.
- Hold the protector in place over the trim to check the fit and position before peeling the backing.
- Peel the backing off the protector.
- Line up one end of the protector with the end of the sill, then lay it down along the length of the trim toward the other end.
- If the placement isn't right, lift the protector and lay it back down. The material is flexible and can be lifted and repositioned a few times.
- Press along the whole length of the protector with a towel, using even pressure, to finish the install.
- Repeat for the other sill.
To remove a protector later, warm it with a hairdryer or heat gun on a low setting, then lift it off.
