Installing the Premium Mudflaps
- Turn the front wheel to full lock to make space at the front wheel arch.
- Hold the front mudflap up to the arch to check the fit. It should sit flush against the bodywork.
- Using the supplied screwdriver, get behind each of the three factory trim clips, pop them out, and wiggle them free. Do not reuse them.
- Hold the mudflap in position and line up the first hole.
- Push the outer plug of a supplied longer clip into the hole first, so you know you are in the right spot. Repeat for the other two holes.
- Push the center pin of each clip in to spread it behind the trim and firm up the connection.
- Repeat for the opposite front wheel.
- Move to the rear. The rear mudflap fits behind the rear wheel, on the back edge of the arch where the water sprays up — not in front of the wheel.
- There are two factory clips at this location. Remove both of them with the screwdriver. Factory clips are never reused.
- Clip the edge of the mudflap around the rear bumper.
- Push a supplied longer clip into the hole where you removed the factory clip, then push the center pin in to secure it.
- Get underneath and push a second supplied longer clip into the lower hole, then push its center pin home. This one takes a bit more effort.
- Repeat for the opposite rear wheel.
Allow around 10 minutes to fit all four mudflaps.
