Installing the Front Trunk L-Track Cargo Net
- Using the supplied pry tool, pop out the trim cover on the side wall of the frunk. It lifts out with very little effort.
- Remove the two nuts underneath with the 10mm wrench. They are only lightly tightened. Keep the nuts — they are reused.
- Fit the cast aluminum L-track over the two studs so it sits flat in the recess.
- Refit the two original nuts and tighten them with the 10mm wrench.
- Repeat steps 1–4 on the other side of the frunk for the second L-track.
- Assemble each of the four L-track clips: unscrew the top section, fit it through the loop on the cargo net, then screw the top section back on.
- Repeat until all four clips are attached to the net.
- Fit a clip into the L-track. Hold it parallel to the track, drop it into the track, then let the spring-loaded trigger drop into the holes on either side so it locks in place. If the clip is turned the wrong way it will slide along the track and can pull free.
- Repeat for the remaining three clips. Placing them at the outer ends of each track gives the most coverage.
- Pull on the net to check each clip is locked and will not slide.
The net has a center section as well as the main net, so larger items can go underneath and smaller items in the upper pocket.
