Please watch the video below, installing each of the logo covers just takes a couple of minutes. After installation, please do not expose to temperature or weather extremes for at least 24hrs. If your Tesla has a ceramic treatment, please thoroughly clean the chrome logo with an alcohol wipe first, to aid adhesion.
Installing the logo covers
The cover is a two-piece logo: the main "T" section and the arc that sits above it. The mold is deliberately thin so a clear gap remains between the two pieces, so take care to keep that gap as you press each piece down.
Rear logo
- Separate the two pieces of the logo cover.
- Take the main section and peel off the backing from the 3M tape using the peel tab.
- Hook the main section over the top of the T on the car.
- Apply pressure to bond it, pulling down gently at the same time. This keeps the gap open across the top.
- Peel the backing from the arc piece.
- Hook the arc piece underneath the arc on the car and push up deliberately as you apply pressure, so the small gap between the two pieces is maintained.
Front logo
- Separate the two pieces of the logo cover.
- Peel the backing from the main section.
- Hook the main section over the top of the T, then press it down at the bottom of the T and apply pressure.
- Peel the backing from the top piece and press it into place the same way.
The front cover fits the front logo on both Model Y and Model 3. The covers fit all versions of Model 3 and Model Y, except the Model Y Juniper, which has no front logo.
